  • At Public Service Alliance of Canada North, we began working on a campaign at the beginning of the year calling for all northern territories to increase minimum wage to $15/hr per hour.

    However, according to several recent findings and reports, the current and proposed minimum wage does not cover the cost of living in the north. With new information, we have decided to increase that figure to as close to a Living Wage as possible.

  • On National Indigenous Peoples' Day, June 21, PSAC is distributing Red Dress pins?to raise awareness on the National issue of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls in Canada, and to urge the government to bolster the efforts of the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Grils (MMIWG).?

  • Members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada North participated in a number of rallies throughout the North, Feb. 28.?
